The Apeks XTX200 Stage 3 Regulator Set is the top-of-the-range Stage 3 set from Apeks .

The XTX200 represents the ultimate in technical diving performance and modern style.Fully balanced, the XTX200 is engineered to provide uncompromising performance and relaxed, effortless breathing in any extreme environment.

The FSR 1st stage is environmentally sealed. This prevents ice build-up in the mainspring chamber, allowing you to dive in extremely cold water. It also protects you against contaminants getting into the system and impeding the quality of your air or harbouring bacteria. Air is supplied by 4 low pressure and 2 high pressure angled ports, allowing you to easily route your cables.

The XTX 2nd stage features a heat exchanger which surrounds the valve mechanism, the extracts as much heat as possible from the ambient water, increasing the temperature of the air within the 2nd stage, ensuring comfortable breathing temperatures. The venturi switch and open control knob gives you control to configure your how your regulator functions on the fly to avoid free-flow and achieve the ideal breathing experience.

A high-quality braided hose connects the 1st and 2nd stages. In comparison to rubber, braided hoses are more flexible and durable while also being lighter.

The XTX40 Octopus matches the incredible performance of Apeks XTX range regulators. Designed to suit the needs of technical diving, it features the same range of features too, including venturi and Opening effort controls so you can adjust your breathing settings to suit your tastes and environment.

The 2 stage purge button is large and easy to use, especially important when you could be in a difficult spot. The first step of the button delivers a controlled clearing of the octo while pressing the button down fully rapidly purges the Octo. As you’d expect, the XTX50 Octo is accented in yellow and comes with a bright 36” hose so you’ll be able to see it even in the murkiest dive.

Second Stage:

Pneumatically-balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing.
The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used – press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the centre for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator clearing etc.
The large venturi lever has a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier to locate and use. The lever reduces the amount of grit ingress and therefore resists any possible friction giving a smooth operation.
Easy-to-grip opening effort control knob keeps the diver in control.
The second stage is manufactured with active protection against infection as all molded parts are produced with an additive that kills MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also very effective against viruses, mould, yeast and algae.
A silicone exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator.
The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw-fatigue.
A heat exchanger (patented) which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water.
Compatible with EAN40 out of the box.
